How Do I Choose What Orders and Columns are Shown in a View?
Section titled “How Do I Choose What Orders and Columns are Shown in a View?”Views can be configured using the filter, sort, and hide dropdowns. Let’s take a deeper look at each one.
-
Filters can help you narrow down the specific orders you want to see. You can filter by any column, and even stack multiple filters. Want to see only screen printing orders that need to be shipped this week? Or only paid orders with approved art? Filters can do it all. Just click on the filters dropdown to add new filters to a view. To learn more about using filters, Click Here.

-
Sort can help you stay organized by sorting your orders by dates, amounts, or any other column type. This is frequently used to sort orders by ship date so that the orders that need to ship soonest are always at the top. You can also sort orders by dollar amount, status, or any other column. Just click the sort drop down to add a sort to a view. To learn more about sorting, Click Here.
-
Hide allows you to show or hide columns in each view. For example, you may not need your production team to see if any order has been paid, so you can hide the payment column in their view, but still show it on other views. Remember that when you hide a column, you are only hiding it from that view. The column is NOT deleted and will still be shown in other views. In the hide dropdown, just click the eyeball next to the column name to toggle between showing or hiding that column. You also reorder your columns by clicking on the column name and dragging them left or right. When you reorder columns, it only changes the column order for that view.
How Do I Rename and Delete Views?
Section titled “How Do I Rename and Delete Views?”To rename a view, just click on the pencil icon next to view name.
To delete a view, just click on the trash icon next to the view name. Keep in mind, once you delete a view, it can not be restored and you would have to recreate the view again from scratch.
Next, we will look at some use cases and examples of views.
