Shortcodes

Shortcodes are variables that you can use to include customer or order information inside of a message template. For example, lets say that you want to send this email when an order is complete for your customer:

Hey Dave! Your Order #12233 - Dave’s Bar Shirts is ready for pickup.

You can use shortcodes to save this as a template so that the same email can be sent for all of your customers’ orders. The shortcodes automatically fill in the right info! Here is what your email template would look like:

Hey {Contact First Name}! Your Order #{Order Number} - {Order Name} is ready for pickup.

To use a shortcode in an email or email template, start by typing the { sign. This will open up a shortcode dropdown where you can select from the available shortcodes. You can scroll through the list, or keep typing to find the shortcode you are looking for!
